Guardsman review in Boston, Massachusetts: Don't shop at Bob's Discount Furniture

Just awful leather sofa and love seat. My love seat has fully come apart and the white fluffy stuff is coming out, filed a complaint with guardsman and of course they denied it. It's so dumb! It's a manufacturing product problem. My other couch is fine and has never torn, but this love seat has completely torn. Rediculous! Guardsman is awful, don't trust them and don't believe Bob's Furniture for the Goof Proof warranty. it's a total lie!!! It's beyond rediculous and now I am calling Bob's and chasing them and willing to take everyone to small claims court. I don't want my money I just want my new couch fixed or replaced.

Guardsman Protection Plan an ripoff

I don't normally purchased these kinds of plans but I did when I purchased new furniture 3 years ago. The plan was $200 for 5 years, should anything happen to the furniture, including stains. I went online- submitted my claim and pictures, received a phone call approx a week later and was told that since I didn't file my claim within 5 days of occurrence that they are denying it.(its january and marking happened just before the holidays)....clearly honesty doesn't pay, nor do they. And no-one there seems to care or even offer to send a kit so I can clean the stain. I spoke with 3 individuals and they all had the same attitude, that they have held up their end, and tooo bad for me. I'm out $200, because I'm sure next time they'll be some other reason.

Guardsman review in Boston, Massachusetts: False Information..Untrustworthy..

I called this insurance company complaining about the problem. The guy was cool said I will take care just fil the form and send it.I specifically asked an I do it Electronically he said no..you have to take printouts of the damage piece and send whenever you want we will get back to you in 10 working days.. I was so happy finally a good insurance company understsanding the needs..well after 1and half month I discovered I can do it by email and then i did it..but finally received a call saying that 30 days was timelimit they say we can not process your request ...so greedy...I now belive they just take money with no intention to provide service..they have all the reasons for not even listining to us..there wasnt anywhere written about that 30 days ...these people just live on others hardearn money... If they have no intention of providing service why they promise to give the service when we are in buying things.. This in my suggestion to people please dont take this insurance..when you buy anything..they will be never there for help.. Reasons They will say Quality is not covered. This is not covered. We dont do that. and finally actually the policy term is cover. so be careful and dont encourage protection insurance.specially from Guardsman.

Guardsman review in Boston, Massachusetts: SCAM!!! Days go by with unanswered calls!

I have been calling for days now and calls never get answered . Recording that they are in a deparment meeting to call back in two hours. Those two hours has been days! no one answers the phone so i can see why people would not even bother to pursue this They are stealing! taking someones money and not rendering the service. I can not beleive how many people have had this fraud happen to them and how it can continue to go on.. Apparently they do business with many vendors. I will turn to bob furniture for a resolution which im guessing go no where as well
