Buying the guardsman extended warranty was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent when it came time for them to honor the warranty they would say it's not covered under their plan. Finally got them to cover something and they send some *** out that made my table look worse than it was. I'm going to make it a mission of mine to go on every site I can and tell consumers my expireance and discourage them from wasting their money also next time we purchase any kind of furniture I'm going to let every customer in that store know how horrible the guardsman warranty is and if I can stop at least one person from purchasing the guardsman warranty then my job is done!

I don't recommend this warranty!we bought a table and chairs and bought a warranty through guardsman and when we had a issue with our furniture they wouldn't cover it gave us the run around saying it wasn't covered finally got technician to come out and fix a gouge we had on are table and he melted some plastic *** to fill it in now the varnish is gone in that spot it's rough in that area and the plastic stuff came off now gouge is there again. Guardsman is the worst warranty I have ever seen I wouldn't get another one if they paid me horrible customer service too!

Boston Interior, doesn't care about their clients at all. Their management at their Stoughton, MA location rather argue with the customer than get the situation fixed. Guardsman hires outside help to go to people's homes that don't show any sort of ID who they work for and when you question them they give you a lot of attitude and some. I've been a Boston Interior customer for for over 7 years now and I have been treating like the button of an old sole off a cowboys boot. It's been 3 weeks now and I can't even get someone from Guardsman that has any respect or class at all, but Guardsman wants to be known as a prestigious company that's a joke. I can't even get in touch with any supervisor to call me back. I will let the entire world know what is going on with Boston Interior and Guardsman their company of choice that they send to their customers homes to clean furniture.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, give your money to these thieves!!! They give me the run around every time. I have sent the paperwork & pictures three times. They are waiting for my time to run out to deny my claim. As another consumer detailed, they are CRIMINALS!!!! I am just waiting for the denial letter then I am filing a claim in court. We will have our day in court. I cannot Believe Bob's Furniture can allow this scam to go in their stores. I cannot believe I fell for it and gave them my hard earned money ($1400.32) I will follow through with a court claim as soon as I receive the denial letter, which seems to be the consensus among other consumers who are scammed/fooled into believing they are protected.

I have same problem with GUARDSMAN, refused to pay/fix for my claim....also refuse to send a 'deny' letter....this company is a scam, don't pay for their furniture 'protection' plans....let's all get together and file a claim against them! contact me at greensag@yahoo.com please if you want to go against this company with me.

i think you should go back to the shop you got it from, its there fault for not explaining the garenty properly and in full. our shop did and maid it quite clear that it would only cover accidents.

the shop is also at fault for not telling you it was bonded leather and that separation could happen. i have just had a repair to my leather softer under the same guardsman warranty were i very stupidly sprayed shoe die on to it. and they did a spectacular job, totally undetectable color match. so much so i cant stop looking at it its as if it never happened.

i am in Adelaide so i cant vouch for the workmanship in other places but the Adelaide guys are really!

Guardsman review in Framingham, Massachusetts: Service Request Denied

I called in early August to have my claim reviewed. I have two recliners that are broken. I mailed in the forms the same day and was denied my request because someone had initiated a claim back in December 2012. I was deployed with the Army in December 2012 - I did not make this call. In any case, they denied my claim even under the fraud I stated was happening and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told there is no one here who can help you, and they hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to someone and they already knew who I was and stated again that no one could help me, and to stop scamming the system. Im the scam?!!? I was deployed.

Guardsman review in Boston, Massachusetts: Don't shop at Bob's Discount Furniture

Just awful leather sofa and love seat. My love seat has fully come apart and the white fluffy stuff is coming out, filed a complaint with guardsman and of course they denied it. It's so dumb! It's a manufacturing product problem. My other couch is fine and has never torn, but this love seat has completely torn. Rediculous! Guardsman is awful, don't trust them and don't believe Bob's Furniture for the Goof Proof warranty. it's a total lie!!! It's beyond rediculous and now I am calling Bob's and chasing them and willing to take everyone to small claims court. I don't want my money I just want my new couch fixed or replaced.

Guardsman Protection Plan an ripoff

I don't normally purchased these kinds of plans but I did when I purchased new furniture 3 years ago. The plan was $200 for 5 years, should anything happen to the furniture, including stains. I went online- submitted my claim and pictures, received a phone call approx a week later and was told that since I didn't file my claim within 5 days of occurrence that they are denying it.(its january and marking happened just before the holidays)....clearly honesty doesn't pay, nor do they. And no-one there seems to care or even offer to send a kit so I can clean the stain. I spoke with 3 individuals and they all had the same attitude, that they have held up their end, and tooo bad for me. I'm out $200, because I'm sure next time they'll be some other reason.
