This company is a scam! No customer service, no resolution, 18 hours calculated on my cell phone on hold being transferred between Ashley Furniture and Guardsman and still no resolution! I will continue to blog and report until my issue is resolved! I have the parts after completing their old school process, unfortunately Technician cannot come until they they resolve the additional parts needed. Parts that were broken by and reported by their...

I paid over $500 for my furniture's protection plan that is supposed to cover everything not matter what or how it happened to it, even if the damage is purposely done. After 2 years I had damages to my furniture due to the remodeling that I had. I claimed it and they kept telling me there are some documents missing. I kept in contact with them even when I went out of states for a month to make sure the time limited that they have is met. but...

I was told when I purchased my furniture that the warranty covered everything except tears and guardsmen would come out as often as I wanted to clean and keep the furniture in good condition. After 5 months I decided to use my "elite" protection plan because there were a few mud marks from the dogs and also a mark from a friend's leather belt. The claim process was complicated (asking for in depth descriptions of the stain and pictures of the...

I have a plan that is to cover my entire bedroom set. My bed broke on Monday morning. I immediately called to start the process so I could get this resolved before my family came into town for my daughter's birthday. They have the same protocol for a scratch on a dresser and a completely unusable bed and they don't give a *** if you have to sleep on the floor when your family is in town. I originally bought this at Ashley's furniture and the...

Purchased the Elite Protection Plan for two big purchases, filed a request to repair my furniture and have been given nothing but the runaround. I've complied with providing them with pictures and since 11/15 nothing has been done. All I keep hearing is that they need more information, more information and nothing but more information because my pictures are not clear enough for them. I guess I should of hired a Professional Photographer....

I am waiting 2 months to replace broken hinge in my desk. Technician finally arrived to my house just to find out he got wrong hinge. After w few days he called me and said he is unable to find right hinge. It needs to be purchase by Guardsman from manufacturer. Another week nothing happened. Today I called Guardsman to check status. Obviously they haven't ordered hinge yet. What a joke. They said they will order today. It may take another 2...

Guardsman, Elite furniture protection plan, to buy or to not buy? I feel it is extremely important to make possible future customers fully aware of how this company chooses to conduct its business. Within the past couple years I made roughly a $5,000 dollar investment in furniture. During the transaction with Ashley Furniture, I made the decision to protect my investment by purchasing coverage through Guardsman for about $400. About 3 months...
