Well the guardsman company really is bad customer service! Sounds like unsupervised teenagers!

Jerome stepped up ! Really cuz my mom started it right around christmas which ended up with her in the hospital and having the lil miss say " you missed it by a day at xmas "!! I dont think so!

They are not quality for sure! Thank you

says a lot when you cant write a review on webpage. They do to any email or web contact so do not waste your time. Had a claim from October and any way I tried to send the forms was unsuccessful. When someone finally confirmed they got them a few weeks later in Jan. I had to call to see where we were and because there was more than one stain in the area, they referred to it as accumulation (It was breast milk so there were multiple small spots) They stated they are unable to clean it. So basically it has to be just one stain. So if something drips and there are multiple dots its not covered.

Details
This company sucks. They don't honor the service contract you pay for if you don't contact them within an arbitrary time period after your furniture breaks. They are so annoying on the phone you want to reach through the line and strangle them.

Guardsman Guarding my Purchase or their Bank Account?

I just received an email from Guardsman updating me on the status of the leg that fell off the ottoman (in the above picture). Apparently, they say that is "not covered" under their Gold ("most comprehensive") plan.

So... the LEG can fall off a piece of furniture less...

Guardsman in Vancouver, British Columbia - Save yourself the money

Dealt with them twice on the same claim and they refused service on both accounts due to not meeting their required (and ridiculous) terms and conditions. Not consumer minded at all! This is an upsell that provides little to no comfort due to these anti consumer policies. When trying to contact them there are extended delays so build that cost into your dealings with them as well. The representative seemed well trained in dealing with complaints with some practiced answers. If a company tries to sell you this, question the company as well for dealing with this scam of an operation.

Guardsman in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Stone Wallers

We purchased a reclining sofa 1 year ago, with a 5 year warranty through Guardsman. The right side recliner failed to wok about 2 months ago, and we called to get it fixed. We were sent to the Guardsman web page, and were old to fill out the service application. We tried, but, the page was not working correctly. We called multiple times to get assistance, but were stonewalled each time. We finally were sent a paper application by mail which we returned promptly. After another 10 days, we called to see if they had relieved the application. They told my wife NO, it hadn't arrived yet. I called back, and stated I was going to file a complaint with a consumer agency, and magically, they fount the application. They proceeded to say they were behind on processing service requests, and they would e-mail us in another 7-10 business days. It was at that point we contacted the store we purchased this from, and they said they could send a repairman over, at a cost of 200 for the 1st hour and parts were separate. My wife agreed, but, we received an e-mail from this company the next day asking about satisfaction... I gave them the whole 9 yards, and we received another e-mail the next day, waiving any charges. It has been almost a month and we still never heard back from Guardsman.
