I purchased the 5-year Guardsman gold plan I called on January 4th, 2018 regarding issues with my sectional sofa that I purchased in 2013 which has one year remaining on my warranty. I filled out the form which stated that the required claim documentation must be submitted within 30 days of when stain or damage occurred.
I filled out the form even included photos and submitted it on the 8th of January 2018 stating that the issues started on December 15th, 2017. I received an email from guardsman on Tuesday, January 9th 2018 stating that the reporting timeframe for my damage was not met under the protection plan how is this possible when there are 30 days between the date you state that damages happened and the date you send it in or even they emailed me are all within 30 days.
