I purchased a goof proof policy for Bobs Furniture. No problem with them.
They came out whenever I needed. They outsourced to Guardsman after about a year. First, you call them. You wait on hold for forever.
Then they send you paperwork. You send it back and wait. Finally they call me to get more info. I had a family emergency, so I didn't call them back within 10 days.
Finally I get back to them - they take down MORE info over the phone, put you on hold three times. then come back and deny my claim A; because I didn't call them within 10 days, B; they don't cover "loose screws" on a drawer. (Bob's Furniture did and besides, it's GOOF PROOF and supposed to cover anything. Secondly, tell them I want to re-open the claim and they tell me they will still deny it and treat it as on old claim.
THEY ARE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY !!!
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING WITH THE NAME GUARDSMAN!! THEY HAVE A BUNCH OF PEOPLE ANSWERING PHONES FIGURING OUT HOW TO DENY CLAIMS
