Bought 5 year plan for a Recliner, from Haverty's Frame broke. Lift lever broke, contacted Guardsmen over 30 days ago still have not received a solution. I have called several times told they would get back with me AND STILL NOT HEARD A THING!!

Buy the plan and web site doesn't work so want complaint mailed. They actuall send you a no response email that says web site doesn't work Call support and they give you a number that I waited over an hour with no answer

The explanation for denying my claim was straight *** I dont care about a time frame (3-4 month) before I reported; it was covid and no one was coming in my house to clean a couch. I am very disappointed in the gimmick protection plan you are running, but I promise your company will never see another dollar from me. This company is making millions on service plans to deny them because of time to report during covid

The company claims did not get the claim in time and is denied. Still have a bed base that doesn't work. So don't ever get their protection plan, it's just throwing money away.

THE WORST OF THE WORST - WHY CAN't I GIVE ZERO STARS

I have two adjustable bed bases that were covered by Guardsman. Guardsman sent technicians repair my bases, but the technicians were incompetent.

They did not repair my bases and as a bonus damaged my mattress. However, more important than Guardsmans incompetent technicians is Guardsmans thoroughly disgusting use of Covid as an excuse to make more money by firing their customer service employees. I have written this review while being on hold for over an hour and a half waiting for customer service to answer, and Im still on hold. I will see how many websites on which I can publish this review while waiting on hold for Guardsman customer service to answer.

All is well now. My issue was that I had been waiting on a telephone call for more than 40 minutes and was suddenly disconnected eitout any notice.

8 months and couch is still broken

My couch broke in December and I'm still waiting for it to be fixed. Technician came out in January and had Guardsman send a replacement part. 3 months later (April) the wrong part arrived. Technician came out and verified wrong part and re-submitted request to order the correct parts (bracket and motor). July 3rd, called for status and was told bracket was on order. Motor arrived but no word on the bracket the motor mounts to. Aug 5, called and waited 45 minutes for an operator but no one came on the line. This is by far the worst service I've ever received.

No help to healthcare heroes

I purchased a living room set (couch, recliner, entertainment center) in 2017 from Ethan Allen Jacksonville office. I had some damage occur in December 2020 and January 2021.

I submitted a claim in February and was denied because it was out of the reporting window.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB for guardsman furniture protection Ethan Allen sold me. Not only do they not respond to the complaint but they dont answer the phone, return messages, and stay on hold for hours. Refusing coverage during the pandemic to an essential healthcare worker because it is out of the time frame is despicable.

I didnt have time due to working at Cedars Sinai, a 1000 bed trauma center in downtown Los Angeles, during the peak and also didnt feel comfortable having someone in my home until vaccinated which resulted in delay of reporting. My protection plan

WORST COMPANY EVER!!! Waited over 2 months to hear back about my claim, called them, waited 30 mins when someone picked up and then hung up. Called back demanding a supervisor and was told they couldn't get me one without my name. They then went to "transfer" and hung up. Waited another 30 minutes and still never got to speak to anyone about my claim. The worst customer service and company ever!!! Nebraska Furniture Mart should refund me for selling us this *** protection!!

I don't feel like stating what happened with my claim but needless to say it has been denied. I still can prove with 100% certainly what they claim is false, I just got their email today, declining my claim. I do not feel very optimistic tho, with all of these NEGATIVE responses...about their customer svc.. it's a joke. I asked several of them where they were in the US and they said that they ( the reps) were in Michigan. I asked, do you live in in Michigan because you don't SOUND like that you are from Michigan. They all said that they were physically IN MICHIGAN. Major LIE, BIG RED FLAG IF CUSTOMER SERVICE TELLS LIES!!
