Total waste of money. They automatically make it impossible to submit a claim saying they haven't received it, even though I sent it to them, twice, they do not answer the phon, I've spent over 45 minutes on hold (on several separate occasions) waiting for "customer service", they do not allow you to email them, it goes on and on. Finally,carter weeks, months, actually I finally satisfied their never ending list of demands, only to have my claim denied. Total scam. Do not purchase this or anything from this company. They deny you before you even submit a claim. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Total waste of money. We had a good experience with guardsman. Our dog ate something that made her sick. She puked on our slip covered sofa (which I was able to wash) but they cleaned and sanitized the blend down cushion. Our dog (same night) got sick on our cream sectional (chaise and loveseat pieces). The "claim" took a phone call and filling out a few forms with my signature. It did take a week before the specialist got to our house. However, he and 2 of his children were down with strep. (Really glad he didn't come sooner). The clean up was awesome. (No I don't work for Guardsman). Just make sure you read over the program. You have to call within so many days!!

FILED A CLAIM GOT DENIED I CALLED WITHIN THE TIME REQUIRED & MAILED IN PAPER WORK TWICE, FINALLY THE THIRD TIME I CALLED THEY SAID THEY NEVER GOT ANYTHING SO I FILED A CLAIM AGAIN. THEN GOT DENIED STATING I DIDN'T DO IT WITH IN TIME LIMIT. REALLY. DON'T BUY SCCCCCCCCCCCCAM SCAMMMMMMMMMM I BOUGHT THE WARRANTY LEVER BROKE OFF AND THEY CAN'T FIX IT NOW IM STUCK WITH A BROKEN AND DIRTY SOFA BECAUSE OF A MAIL PROBLEM, OR A LYING PROBLEM FROM ALL THE CUSTOMER REPS WORKING THERE TRAINED TO SAY THEY NEVER GOT PAPER WORK. SURE CLEAN YOUR HANDS AND MAKE MILLIONS FROM DUMB CUNSUMERS LIKE ME THAT FELL FOR THE SCAM AND BOUGHT THE WARRANTY.. NOW IM OUT MONEY, STUCK WITH BROKEN SOFA. I bought a real leather sectional from haverty's (won't buy from them again) they talked me into the guardsman gold plan which II bought (5 year plan) I bought the sectional 4/2014 I called them and reported the color was coming off the sectional and the chaise was not staying down when you put it down and the electric recliner was jumping. I had to fill out the papers and send them back which I did but never heard from them. I reported it again and sent the papers back with them saying they got them this time (about 3 weeks after I sent it) but some one would contact me which they did today (3/10/2017) now they told me because I reported it in Aug 2016 they would not cover anything at all. They did not contact me back then they have never come to see the furniture. All they do is take your money and refuse any warranty. DO NPOT EVER BUY THIS GUARDSMANN PRODUCT, I GOT MINE AT HAVERTY'S BUT I KNOW THAT NEBRASKA FURNITURE ALSO SELLS IT BECAUSE I HAVE BOUGHT IT TO COVER SOMETHING I GOT FROM THEM TOO. BY THE WAY HAVERTY'S JUST REFERRED ME TO GAURDSMANN SAYING THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT BECAUSE GUARDSMANN COVERS IT' I WON'T BUY FROM THEM AGAIN EITHER

Paid $300 for a 5 year plan that was supposed to cover everything. I had the internal back separate on my coach causing my cushion to fall down. NOT COVERED!!?? However it states it is clearly covered in the brochure. However since I originally could not see what caused the issue, they claim that it is normal wear and tear that causes a cushion to flatten. Even after the tech came out and took pictures and told me it should be covered, they claim they did not get the pictures and that I can not resubmit a claim at this point. Plus it was 2 months ago that I submitted the claim and did not hear back from them. I had to follow up to see what the resolution was. Definitely not worth it. I just got off the phone trying to explain this to a very non responsive phone operator and left a message with the resolution dept-which I doubt I will hear from based on their history.

Guardsman review: Beware! Do not buy extended warranty, not worth a cent.

I called in to try to get a repair for my furniture. It is a hassle for what you have to do and on top of that they are Extremely Rude. Poor customer service and if they have already replaced something mechanical they do not replace it a second time! Why have a warranty? Diane called me to get some questions from me and was demanding and rude. I asked to speak to her supervisor named Glen who was also useless. I asked to speak to his boss named Jordon - of course I received his voice mail go figure. I am sure he will be of no help either. It is very upsetting to know you have paid extra for a service that they are not willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. You figure you pay for a good warranty but you have to jump through hoops to get your pricey furniture repaired. On top of that you have to go through a lengthily and timely procedure. Then you have to deal with their poorly customer service and then in the end you do not have warranty on it after all due to the *fine print. Save your money.
